[tex-live] Metapost 0.992 beta released

Hi all,

I am pleased to announce that a beta version of the upcoming
MetaPost release can be downloaded:

There is a source distribution available, and also binary
packages for linux and win32 (cross-compiled using mingw32).

There are a few differences compared to the previous beta:

* The manual 'mpman' is now up-to-date
* Hartmut found a few typos in the 'mpgraph' manual
* Some small changes are made to the groff font support
* dmp now uses kpathsea searching by default
* makempx is now a compiled executable on all systems.

This is the definitive version for TeX Live, and has already
been committed to the texlive repository (#2554, #2555).
