I think it can safely be assumed that the readers of the list have
understood the topic at point.

Depends on your source of CDs/DVDs.  And again: don't presume that
broadband pricing is the same worldwide as it is in cities in the
Netherlands.  There are areas where net connectivity is quite worse
than even my mother's 33.1kBit Modem (which at least is the limiting
factor here, not the provider).
