[tex-live] xdvi fails to find libXaw.so.6 (Debian Sarge)

When launching xdvi I get the following error message (even after 
installing texlive2005-live-20051020.iso):

xdvi-xaw.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libXaw.so.6: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory

Actually Debian sarge has only /usr/X11R6/lib/libXaw.so.7.0
and links 'libXaw.so.7' 'libXaw.so' to it.

What am I missing?
