Does it mean that texdoctk.dat for TL is maintained by TL people
rather than by Thomas Ruedas?  If yes, I can send you a patch
tomorrow.  texdoctk itself has not to be patched to find amslatex, it
is sufficient to add "amslatex" to the keyword column in texdoctk.dat.
