[tex-live] Fancyvrb version numbers.

I have on my home system a version of fancyvrb.sty that is identified
by:

\def\fileversion{2.7, with DG/SPQR fixes}
\def\filedate{2000/03/21}

while on CTANs, under tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/fancyvrb/
I find a fancyvrb.dtx containing:

\def\fileversion{2.6, with DG/SPQR fixes}
\def\filedate{1998/07/17}

I am wondering: have CTANs an old version?  Is my version wrong?  I do
not remember from where I got it...

Sebastian, I see that v2.7 was zapped at one point and replaced with v2.6  
- do you know if the reason simply is that Denis has v2.7 lying around and  
hasn't published it? He's tough to get in touch with these days...
