[tex-live] xemacs

dear sir,
I bought the book latex2e by thomas demmig together with a cd.
I am using windows at my computer and I would like
to install latex.
I think I managed the first part, but the problem is xemacs.
I am used to this editor (which I used in Linux during my PhD) and I
would actually like to keep using this one. But unfortunately there is not a
single
sentence in te book that gives any hint of how to install this editor.
could you please help me further?
