There is something weird going on here.

[dumbledore:Build/i-packages/tex.ii2] gerben% bzcat tex.9.tar.bz2 | 
gnutar tvf - | grep elatex

turns up empty here. So how is it possible you have these when I do not 
ship them? Are we certain that you have actually installed what I have 
prepared???

Furthermore:

So no elambda in my stuff. But I run just a make install. Why does my 
make install not produce a elambda if it should?
