[tex-live] crunch time re versions

OK, so lets decide to aim for a new source tree in a week
from now? if you can update pdftex, and Thomas says which changes
he wants to propagate for the rest of it, we can prepare
a new round of binaries.

The only thing which bothers me a little is Fabrice's remark
that DEK will be upset if he sees that we are not using TeX version
3.45678901234567. Still, endless delay is a greater evil still.
