There are systems that uses other places for
perl (/usr/local/gnu/bin/perl, ...) and then
the a first line of "#!/usr/bin/perl" will
fail. Therefore the first two lines of epstopdf
are a trick to get the perl script usable with
a wide range of perl installations.
