[pdftex] Movies in PDF documents with pdfTeX

Hi,

I've been successful in including a movie in a presentation using 
hyperref and the instruction
\href{run:animation.ext}{[Click to show movie]}
which starts an external movie player (QuickTime Player under MacOSX).

However, I would find it more elegant to view the movie using Acrobat 
Reader's MoviePlayer plugin (included in Acrobat Reader 5.0). Is this 
possible?
If it is, how can it be done? (and in that case, is it necessary to 
include the movie into the pdf document?).
