     Jpeg doesn't have just one level of compression.  Jpeg is a
lossy form of compression and the amount of compression that you
get depends on the "quality" that you specify. For ImageMagick's
convert, the default quality level is 75 but you can specify any
number between 0 and 100.  The quality that you will want to use is
a matter of judgment and will vary with the content of the image.
