Nobre's work has never gotten the recognition it deserves.  Anthony Phan
wasn't intending to release a package.  Denis Roegel published something
not too long ago about using OpenGL, which I found quite interesting.  I
have notebooks full of notes for features I want to implement.  One of my 
main purposes in writing 3DLDF was to please myself, and it does that very
well indeed.

Somehow, I still manage to hobble over to the computer with my cane and
ear trumpet.

Why?  People here like MetaPost.  And you catch more flies with honey than
you do with vinegar.
