Yes, I was able to re-assign the Show Help… to Shift+ctrl+option 
+command+I (what a beautiful combination!). While I was at it I also  
changed the Special Characters menu that was wasting another perfectly  
fine shortcut.

All of this on a computer that's still on 10.5.8.
