Howdy,

Don't know if you've tried TeXworks, a cross-platform TeXShop  
``clone'' written by Jonathan Kew, that will be part of TeX Live 2009  
(and therefore MacTeX) distribution. Information is at <http://www.tug.org/texworks/ 
 > and a OS X binary is available at <http://code.google.com/p/texworks/downloads/list 
 >. Oh... it's still an early version so niceties like macros and  
printing of source or pdf aren't there yet.
