[OS X TeX] What is this error i am not able to figure out

You're probably missing a closing curly brace somewhere, e.g. a  
missing }.

It looks to me like it's in the preamble or in an included file or  
package. It's hard to say more without seeing your file(s). You should  
try to pare it down to a minimum example that shows the problem. That  
process usually uncovers the error.
