is there a way to have a citation (of a book) appear in the text with
the title of the book instead of the author(s)? Instead of something
like "as it was shown in Smith et al. (1989)" I would like to see, "as
it was shown in 'book title' (1989)".
Why not, again using NatBib, write out the title manually and then just cite via the year? As:
... appears in the Oxford English Dictionary \citeyearpar{OED2008}.
which looks like:
... appears in the Oxford English Dictionary (2008).
