[OS X TeX] pdfcrop and white equations?

Howdy,

The standard pdftricks uses latex->dvips->ps2eps->epstopdf while the  
version I use uses latex->dvips->ps2pdf14->pdfcrop. The cropping  
problem seems to arise in the ps2eps step.
