[OS X TeX] pdfcrop and white equations?

The latter is interesting.   The fact that LaTeXiT 1.16 now uses pdfcrop 
makes the former less surprising.

Please share your results with us and with the author of pdfcrop
(Heiko Oberdiek <oberdiek   uni-freiburg.de>) as well!
