Howdy,

If you already deleted the MacTeX.mpkg.zip file you can download the  
much smaller mactex-additions.mpkg.zip (everything except the TeX  
distribution) from <http://www.tug.org/mactex/morepackages.html>.  
Again, you need just install Ghostcript using a custom install.
