[OS X TeX] Using Beamer with TeXShop and Memory leaks

Running TexShop with Beamer, every time I typeset the memory used by  
TeXShop increases by ~34 MB! The starting memory for TeXShop is ~54  
MB (MacOSX 10.4.11, TeXShop 2.14, Beamer 3.07). It grows to a GB  
before crashing in no time. I have 66 slides with figures.
I realize this is an old bug, but just thought I would mention it again.
