[OS X TeX] MacTeX vs TeX Live

Hi,

I've used MacTeX since last year. I'm wandering what's the difference  
between MacTeX and TeX Live installed through MacPorts.

Isn't MacTeX just TeX Live packaged with Ghostscript + Image Magick +  
some GUI apps? Or are there any other differences?
