[OS X TeX] Cite in your own way

Hi folks,

When citing references using \cite command, these refs will then be
formatted to the style that you are using, for example

...results, both in experimental and theoretical, are
reported\cite{refA,refB}.

After typesetting, you get

..results, both in experimental and theoretical, are
reported{\superscript}2,4.

where numbers 2 and 4 are refA and refB correspondingly, and are put on
superscript right after reported.

Now I want to write something like

..results, both in experimental and theoretical, are reported in
references 2 and 4.

where 2 and 4 are not formatted as citation style, just normal text.
What command I should use?

Thanks,

D.
