Others would like to see this interesting phenomenon, too, but they 
cannot, because you never said
1) whether you use pdflatex or latex+ghostscript (you answered that 
pdfetex is running, but that doesn't answer the question.)
2) how you invoke the graphics package; graphics or graphicx, option 
[dvips] or [pdftex] or none
3) which other relevant package you include, like epstopdf.

How about simply showing your tex file plus the complete console output?
