[OS X TeX] Three typeset versions in Leopard?

I installed Leopard on a new computer and then installed the TexLive
2007 distribution. Tonight I observe some peculiar behavior when
typesetting.
Typeset #1 = Expected output in TeXShop preview window.
Typeset #2 = Font has changed to something generic and math renders
mostly (large parenthesis show up as ascii characters stacked in
columns to form the brackets)
Typeset #3 = Math renders properly but fonts are still generic.
Typesetting a 4th time returns back to proper output and the cycle
continues. I am not changing the tex file between type settings
(simply pressing apple-t repeatedly). It is not too alarming since I
can just keep type setting until I get the proper output, however this
is new behavior as of tonight.
Have I accidently changed a preference or is this a Leopard glitch?
My other computer is running Tiger and TexLive 2007 as well.
Thank you,
