I have a 170-pages document completely set with the twocolumn option.
I understand that I can put centered text above the two columns by
adding something like \twocolumn[blablabla]
Now on two occasions I have some text which comes at the bottom of a
page but has to be centered.
Looking like this:
column1 column2
this is where
I want to go
Can anybody point me to a way of just locally breaking the twocolumn
environment within one page?
TIA,
Alex
