  At the opposite of the preceding one, this question has nothing related
to PSTricks, but concern only the (basic) usage of one specific TeX
implementation. Please, use other ways to found such informations (or, better,
found it by yourself, as it is available in various places -see the
documentation deliver with TeTeX in /usr/share/texmf/doc (or the directory
where TeTeX is installed on your system), see the comments in the file
/usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf, the archives of the TeTeX mailing list, etc.).
