The application deadline for TUG 2011 was July 15, 2011. This deadline was extended from an originally earlier deadline, due to lack of responses.
Three applications for Bursary awards were received prior to the deadline. The Bursary Committee examined the applications and voted to fund all of them, due to the reasonable amount being requested. One recipient ultimately did not attend the conference and thus received no award.
The two applicants who received awards were from Austria and and India. The total amount awarded was $718.
The Bursary Committee for 2011 was composed of Jana Chlebikova, Bogusław Jackowski, Alan Wetmore and Steve Peter (Chair).
